A Wake-Up Call for Viewers and Advertisers!

admin, April 24, 2025

Posted February 5, 2025 – As I sit here watching NBC local and national news, I’m struck by the glaring bias in their reporting. It’s like they think they’re smarter than us, tryin’ to shape our opinions instead of giving us the whole story. Have you noticed how the news tends to lean a certain way? It’s almost like it’s got its favorite team and is only showing the highlights? It’s like watching a football game where only one side gets all the touchdowns in the recap! That’s not journalism, that’s propaganda!

Let me tell you, this isn’t just about news; it’s about the very fabric of our communities. This one-sided reporting isn’t just a disservice to us viewers; it divides families, friends, and neighbors like a hot biscuit and cold butter! Primetime’s gone down the tubes, too. These shows used to reflect our values, the values of hardworking Americans. Now? Not so much. They’re pushing an agenda, and it ain’t the American one.

Now, I know some folks might say, “Well, Dean, you’re just mad ’cause your side ain’t winning.” But that’s not it. I’m concerned because I believe in fairness and balance. I believe that every American deserves to hear both sides of the story, not just the side that some newsroom elite wants us to hear.

And let’s talk about our new president—who, by the way, won the popular vote! A good many of us are satisfied with the changes he’s bringing about. Yet, what do we get from the mainstream media? A daily dose of negativity, as if only “bad news” can sell. But I reckon that ain’t the whole story!

Remember this: A democracy without fair reporting is like gumbo without the roux – it just ain’t right!

Now, to the big-name advertisers propping up these programs: I’d gently suggest you take a good hard look in the mirror. When you support biased reporting, you’re not just putting money in their pockets; you’re also choosing to alienate a whole bunch of potential customers who want a fair shake at the news they consume. Why not pivot to less biased media? There are plenty of platforms out there that value diverse opinions and cater to the American spirit of dialogue. Your products deserve a stage where they can shine, not some echo chamber!

In the grand scheme of things, let’s restore balance in our newsrooms and in our hearts. Do your part—stay informed, demand fairness, and choose brands that reflect the values of all Americans! Together, we can turn this tide and free ourselves from the chains of biased reporting! 🇺🇸
