What Happens to the Wealth of “Rich People”?

admin, April 24, 2025

Facebook Post Sept 4, 2024 – I want to share some thoughts with you that I hope will challenge some long-held assumptions about wealth and government. For years, Democratic politicians have painted a picture of “Rich People” as greedy and selfish. They argue for bigger government and higher taxes, promising to help the less fortunate. However, the government’s track record doesn’t inspire much confidence, they’re now borrowing a trillion dollars every 100 days.

Now, let’s consider where “Rich People” actually put their money. If they put it in the bank, their savings help fund mortgages, small business loans, auto loans, and personal loans. This benefits our communities and creates opportunities for others. Additionally, the bank shares the interest with savers, creating a win-win situation.

If they invest in the stock market, they create liquidity and wealth for teacher retirements, 401k plans, and dividends. This helps our fellow citizens plan for their futures and achieve financial stability.

Here’s the kicker: a lot of this wealth is invested in charities, churches, job creation, new businesses, business expansions, and innovations that make society better! It’s a cycle of prosperity that benefits everyone.

The role of our government is undeniably important, but unfortunately, it has become a massive consumer rather than a producer. Over the past 16 years, the federal government has been dominated by Democrats for 12 of those years, with Democratic presidents being career politicians. On the other hand, President Donald Trump, who was not a career politician, has been blamed for every mistake made in recent years.

I encourage all of us to think critically about the role of government and the value of individual wealth. When American citizens have money, no dollar goes to waste – unless it’s taken out of society and given to politicians.

Let’s work together to build a brighter tomorrow for all Americans, regardless of their financial success. Share your thoughts and let’s start a conversation!
