Let’s Get America Back on Track! admin, April 24, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 – A Word from the Peanut Gallery: Let’s Get America Back on Track! Folks, I’m sitting here on January 20th, 2025, feeling a mix of emotions – relief, hope, and a whole lotta frustration. We’ve just wrapped up four long years of watchin’ our country take a nose dive, and I’m here to tell you, it’s high time for a change! Today marks a turning point in the journey of our great nation. Yes, it’s been a rocky road—runaway debt, skyrocketing inflation, open borders, and crime on the rise. It seems like our elected officials have been on a spending spree with our tax dollars, cozying up to the idea that our budget can be treated like an all-you-can-eat buffet. with inflation eating up our wallets faster than kudzu climbing a Georgia pine. Let me tell you something about numbers that’ll curl your hair: – Every DAY we’ve been adding $8.5 BILLION to our national debt – A Big Mac costs nearly DOUBLE what it did in 2019 – And don’t even get me started about them $4 eggs! But here’s the good news, friends: We’re fixing to see some real change. President Trump (bless his heart for not giving up) is bringing in folks who actually know how to balance a checkbook – imagine that! These ain’t your typical Washington suit-and-ties who’ve never met a spending bill they didn’t like. Trump’s talking about spreading them government agencies all across this great land of ours. Can you imagine the sheer brilliance of moving government agencies around the country? No more inaccessibility from DC! Let’s put them out where we can keep an eye on things! And, not to mention, let’s get a little Southern common sense back into the mix. Now here’s something that makes more sense than grits at breakfast: Reckon it’s about time we reminded them bureaucrats that America doesn’t stop at the Beltway. Now, I know some folks might think that’s a crazy idea, but I think it’s genius. It’s time to take the power out of the swamp and put it back in the hands of the people. Remember, folks, just like Mama always said: “You’ve got to watch them politicians like a hawk watches a chicken.” The last four years taught us that when we take our eyes off Washington, they start acting like teenagers with Daddy’s credit card. It’s easy for our elected officials to get lost in the glitter of Washington if we don’t keep reminding them who’s really in charge—We The People! So let’s put our differing political stripes aside, folks, ’cause, at the end of the day, we’re all on this crazy train together. It’s our country, and it’s great in spite of us. Let’s hope for the best and pray hard for the folks tallying up that national debt. Let’s join hands and pray for our nation’s future. God’s blessed America through thick and thin, and with some common sense leadership and good old-fashioned accountability, we’re about to see what this country can really do. Let’s give thanks for a cabinet full of folks who ain’t career politicians, folks who understand the value of a dollar and a hard day’s work. Let’s pray for our country, for our future, and for President Trump. He’s got grit, he’s got gumption, and he’s got my vote. The last four years taught us a valuable lesson: keep a close eye on them fellas in Washington, or they’ll spend us right out of house and home!
