Up coming Election, Choose Wisely

admin, April 24, 2025

Posted September 7, 2024 – As we approach the upcoming election, let’s all reflect on the importance of our vote. In this election, we are faced with two very different candidates who, like all of us, are far from perfect. So, when we support one candidate over the other, we are not endorsing their flaws. Instead, we are choosing the candidate who aligns more closely with our principles and beliefs.

You might have noticed the stark contrast in media coverage for both candidates. One candidate has been heavily endorsed by the mainstream media and government, while the other has been consistently smeared and discredited since 2015, not only by the media but also by a corrupt government some in both political parties. A government that is now borrowing $1 trillion dollars every one hundred days and continues to spend out of control, seemingly ignoring our national deficit. They won’t even address balancing the budget anymore. We must ask ourselves, why is the media and corrupt government for the politician, and so vigorously against the businessman and former President?

I believe that Americans want a proven courageous leader, someone who has stood up to repeated attacks from all sides and has not given up. A person who engages in press conferences and live interviews with adversarial reporters, openly facing tough questions and public scrutiny, is a person who I believe could face foreign adversaries without fear. I believe we need a leader with a proven track record of supporting domestic manufacturing and small businesses, and who has reduced the cost of living for all Americans while in office. A leader who has vigorously protected our borders and who is endorsed by the most law enforcement personnel nationwide. We need a leader who believes in reducing the size of government, lowering taxes, and addressing the national debt.

However, we also have the option to choose a candidate who promises bigger government, higher taxes, and increased federal mandates on matters such as abortion. A person who has allowed our borders to be opened to criminals and has lobbied for defunding the police. A person who believes in giving more control to Washington, DC, and further centralizing the healthcare system. A person who wants people in Washington, DC, to dictate who our doctors are, when, where, and how we are to be treated for illnesses. A person who will likely want people in Washington, DC, to tell us how to raise our children.

Before heading to the polls and casting our vote, we should all carefully consider the consequences of our vote. How will our vote impact our family, our community, our children, and our grandchildren? Will our vote make the USA stronger, or will it contribute to weakening our nation? Will it make our government more dominant over us, or will it safeguard our constitutional rights and God-given liberties? If you really believe in growing our government, paying more taxes, opening our borders, and that Washington politicians and bureaucrats can make good decisions for all of us then Vote for Kamala Harris.

Ultimately, we are blessed to live in a country where our vote matters, and where we have the freedom to choose who represents us. Let’s make our voices heard at the polls and protect the future of our great nation.

May God bless you and your loved ones, and may He guide us in making the right decision for our country. Thank you for your time, and may we continue to work together to support a stronger, more united, and prosperous America.

Sincerely,

Dean Burnette
